Registrar Lock in Shared Web Hosting
Locking and unlocking a domain registered through us is really easy. This can be done through the Hepsia Control Panel, which comes with our shared web hosting, and will take exactly two clicks. All your domains will be shown alphabetically in the Registered Domains section of the Control Panel and next to those whose extensions support the registrar lock option, you will notice a padlock-like symbol. Click on it once and you’ll see the present status of the domain name. Click once again and you’ll alter its status. The change will propagate instantaneously without the need for you or for us to do anything else for the status to be updated on WHOIS lookup sites, so you can proceed with the transfer procedure right away.
Registrar Lock in Semi-dedicated Servers
In case you’ve registered a domain through our company and you wish to transfer it away, you can quickly unlock it through the very same Hepsia Control Panel, which you use to manage your semi-dedicated server account. All domain registrations will be displayed alphabetically in your account and you will notice a mini padlock icon on the right side of each domain name there, on the condition that its generic or country-code extension supports the registrar lock feature. You can see if the domain name is locked or not by clicking on this icon and change the current status by clicking on it once again. You can then proceed and initiate the domain name transfer straight away without waiting for the status to be updated on WHOIS lookup websites, as the change will propagate immediately without you or us having to do anything else.
